Rev. Joseph Iteri Gichembu (Retired Minister)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s Perfect Will that we announce the sudden demise, after short illness of Rev. Joseph Iteri Gichembu on Monday, 21st May, 2018 at Nazareth Hospital. The Late Rev. Joseph Iteri Gichembu was a Retired Minister in the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (P.C.E.A) attached to Naivasha Town Parish in Nyandarua Presbytery.

Son of the late Gichembu Kuria and the late Monicah Nyambura. Step son of the late Esther Wanjiku. Brother of the late James Kuria, Geoffrey Gicheru, Paul Ngome and Alice Njeri. Step brother of the late Stanley Mbugua (Iteri), Margaret Wambui Njiriri and Jane Njeri Muthoga.

The Church, family, friends and well wishers are meeting daily at his home, Ndiuni in Ndeiya at 7p.m.

There shall be a Memorial Service on Friday, 25th May, 2018, 1 p.m. at P.C.E.A Naivasha Town Church.

The cortege shall leave P.C.E.A Kikuyu Mortuary on Monday, 28th May 2018 at 9 a.m. and the Funeral Service shall start at 10 a.m. at P.C.E.A CHURCH of the Torch,THOGOTO (KIMURI) and then the burial at P.C.E.A KIKUYU Presbytery cemetery.
