Peter Abong’o Ochuka

It is with deep sorrow but humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Mr. Peter Abong’o Ochuka of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, State Department for Wildlife Nairobi on Monday 11th June 2018 after a short illness.

Son of the late Joab Ochuka Kichari and Mama Jennifer Ochuka and the late Grace Ochuka. Husband of Mary Abong’o and the late Agneta Abong’o. Loving father of Richard Abong’o, the late Tina Abong’o, Risper Abong’o, Alice Abong’o and Kennedy Ochieng’. He was the guardian of Zachary Bula. Brother of Ken Ochuka, late Antepers Ochuka, late Paul Ochuka, late Thomas Ochuka, Henry Okuta, Alice Sine, Pamela Ogutu, Rose Awino, Jacqueline Odhiambo, Loice Nandwa, Felgona Anyango, Dinah Akinyi, Kernael Aoko, Late Millicent Achieng, Dr. Odhiambo Olel, Henry Ocholla, Benbella Omeme, Tom Swango, late George Abisaiah and Chief Kenyatta Olel. Uncle of Daisy, Ouko, Beryl, Stacy, Achieng, Gloria, Godfrey, Mjomba, Joab, Sheba, Felix, Pauline.

The main Harambee will be held at the Old Sanctuary Nairobi Central SDA Church, on 19 June 2018 from 5.30pm.

The body leaves Chiromo Funeral Parlour on Thursday 21st June 2018.

Burial will be on Friday 22nd June 2018 at his home in Osasa village, Kabondo, Homa Bay County.
