It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Jeremiah Ondieki Onkendi.
Son of the late Eliazaro Onkendi and the late Martha Mong’ina of Mochenwa village. Husband of the late Monicah Kemunto. Father of James, Julius and the late Martha. Father-in-law of Jeriah and Sarah. Grandfather of Dennis, Siocha, Getrude, Ian and Biko. Uncle of Mogakas (USA), Kiriagos (USA), Ongeris (USA). Brother of the late Joel, Maranga, the late Kiriago, Gideon, Ongeri, Ogari, the late Mayogi, Truphena and the late Fridah, Zakayo/Omesa amongst others. Korera of the late iNyangena and Ombati.
The cortege leaves Kapkatet District hospital on 7/12/2017 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial at his farm on 28/12/2017 at Nyansiongo Rigoko village.
How comforting it is to know that Jehovah the God of all comfort will eliminate all grief.
2 Corinthians 1:3, 4- Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.’
He will then provide permanent consolation when ‘all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,’ (John 5:28, 29)
