Mama Martha Mukolwe Shikuku

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of retired Teacher, Layreader Mama Martha Mukolwe Shikuku, she was wife to the Late Jonathan Shikuku of Imanga Village.

Daughter of the late Ham and Selina Wambeyi of Ebubala village. Sister of Joyce Ambale, the late Albert Chisienya, the late Saul Wamakombo, the late Jane Kanga and late Naomi Omurnali. Mother of Rose Nyongesa (Milima Primary), Elizabeth Chunge (Chunge Advocates, Bungoma), Joan Mulati (Muslim Primary), Moses Shikuku (OCS Parklands), Monica Shikuku (Bulimbo Primary), Ham Wambeyi (Chief Imanga Location), Selina Watitwa, Phelesia Okech (Ibinzo Primary), Mathew Makongo & the late Jane Shikuku.

Sister-in-law of Estabel, Penina, Mikal, Rhoda, Kepha, the late Lazaro, the late Agneta & the late Phanuel.Aunty of the Chisienyas, Kangas,Wamakombos and Makongos among others. Mother-in-law of Pamela Nandwa Mutayi (KBC), Lilian (Emuberi Primary), Everlyne (AP Busia), Eng Situma, Bishop Chunge, Mulati, Eshikumo, Watitwa, Okech & the late Owino. Grandmother of many.

The body is at St Mary’s Hospital Mortuary (Mumias).

The burial service will be at Eshiyanza Primary School on Saturday 3/3/18 before being laid to rest at her Imanga home. Butere Sub-County.

There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 27-2-18 at All Saints Cathedral starting 5pm.
