Husband of the late EuniceWangechi Maina. Father of Jenifer Wangari, Titus Taiti, Boniface Ndirangu, Mary Muthoni and Agnes Wambui. Father-in-law of Carol Wangari Taiti and Felister Wambui Ndirangu. Son of the late Joseph Kiriro Taittie and Susan Wangari. Step son of Jane Wambui. Brother of the late David Githae, Agnes Wambui, Nancy Wangui and Alfred Ngotho. Step brother of Esther Gathoni Kariuki and Wachira Kiriro. Grandfather of Tattiana Wangechi Taittie Esther Mwitha Taittie and Dane Maina K. Taittie among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Bururu, Wilson Airport and his rural home in Kinamba. The cortege leaves Nyahururu Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Wednesday 22nd Nov, 2017 at 8:00am and thereafter burial at his rural home in Nyakiambi, Kinamba in Laikipia County.
