NICHOLAS BIWOTT A GREAT MAN

Mrs. Hannie Biwott on behalfof the family of the late Hon. Kipyator Nicholas Kiprono Arap Biwott wishes to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all. relatives and the many people who so selflessly and compassionately supported us through prayers, messages of love and condolence, floral tributes and other acts o fkindness, during this difficult time of our bereavement.

We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to those who honoured our family and showed their respect for the late Nicholas Biwott by taking time from their busy schedules to visit us at home, attend the funeral services, or join us at the burial: In particular we extend our gratitude to His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and the First Lady Mrs. Margaret Kenyatta; His Excellency the Deputy President William S. Ruto and Mrs. Rachel Ruto; the Retired President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Jakaya Kikwete; the Right Honourable Raila Odinga and former Cabinet colleagues.

We thank his Excellency Retired President Moi, and his family for their kind messages and donation of beautiful flowers. Our thanks also go to Mrs. Krishna Pratt and the Board and Management of the National Fund for the Disabled and the Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinett, for their support from beginning to end.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of Governors, Senators, Cabinet Secretaries, in particular Governors Jackson Mandago & Alex Tolgos for their support, Ambassador Amina Mohamed for being so caring and Henry Rotich for chairing the Nairobi Committee. Our thanks also go to Principal Secretaries and the representatives of central and local government who were so helpful.

Our deep appreciation goes to the funeral committees in Nairobi, Eldoret and Toot who worked so tirelessly and with such commitment and dedication and the MCs led by Dr Chris Kiptoo and Fr Kigen. We also appreciate the great number of suppliers who responded so quickly in our time of need.

We also thank all those who provided pastoral care: the AIC Church, Bishop S. Yego, Rev. Dr M. Mwalwa, and all the clergy in Nairobi and Toot.

in particular we would like to publicly record our immeasurable thanks for the warmth, great affection and respect shown by the man), many thousands of people who attended the three days of funeral services in Nairobi and Toot, and the car procession and mourners who lined the roads from Eldoret airstrip to Toot to pay their respects to the Mail that they and we blew the real Nicholas Biwott
