The Amoko Family and the Funeral Committee are saddened to announce the promotion to glory of the late Eng. John Akoko Makyotto which occurred on 07/11/2017 at Mombasa Hospital.

Son of the late Mzee Michael Yoto and the late Mama Grace Akumu. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Makyotto. Father of Susan Makyotto Yiembe Advocate, Rhoda Makyotto Uche and Jackline Makyotto. Brother of Dr. James, Dr. Moses, Prof. Washington Makyotto & others. Sisters; Margaret Otega, the late Diana Adiedo, the late Kerina Owila and others. Uncle and grandfather of many. Father-in-law of Carey Yiembe & Uche. Brother-in-law of Gilian, Mary, Susan, Makasembo Advocate among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Mkomani residence in Nyali, Mombasa from 6.00pm for funeral arrangements. Major Harambee to defray medical bills and funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday 21/11/2017 at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club from 5.00pm. Funeral Service will be held at SDA Kizingo Church on Thursday 23/11/2017 at 12,30pm.

Burial will be on Sunday 26/11/2017 at his rural home in Kideswa Village, Upper Kakwajuok, Karachuonyo, Homabay County.
