1926 – 2017  

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our Dad, Wilson Muchoki Njigua (formerly of Gachunge Provision  Stores, Eastleigh), which occurred on Tuesday, 26th September, 2017 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Husband of Rosemary Muthoni. Father of the late Njigua Wilson Muchoki, Catherine Wanjiku, Millicent Nyambura, Susan Njeri, Maureen Kiragu, Teresia Njoki, Simon Muchoki, Charity Musembi, Jackson Muchoki and Jackline Macharia. Father-in-law of Jersy Njigua, the late Mwangi Mahindi, Pastor John Nguya, the late John Waitete, Regina Maina, Nicodemus Musembi, Nancy Mueni and Macharia Kamau. Grandfather of Wilson Ndaiga, Rosemary Njigua, Catherine Njigua, Wilson Njigua, Francis Njigua, Victor Ndaiga, Yvonne Nyokabi, Geoffrey Kimani, janeffer Wamuyu and Denis Kiragu among others and a great grandfather of 6 children. Brother of Joseph Kamau Njigua, the late Nelius Muthoni and the late Susan Wangui (Gaciriku). Step-brother of Robert Mwangi (Wagithuka), Karanja Njigua (Njanju), Simon Kamau, Sarah Gathoni and the late Mumbi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Ebony House (Ebony Meeting Chambers), Tom Mboya Street, next to Tuskys Imara, 2nd Floor, Room 2 – Nairobi from 5.30 to 8.30pm for funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 3rd October, 2017 at 8.00am.The funeral will take place on the same day at his home in Iyego Githunguri, Kangema Sub-County, Murang’a County.

    I am very sorry for your loss.
    Please find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God has promised a resurrection at Acts 24:15 and this is something we can look forward to. Our heavenly father knows the pain we go through when we lose someone in death and has therefore promised to wipe out death forever- Isaiah 25:8 and 1Cor 15:26.
