Sister Mary Aoko Otieno (Min Dani)

It is with deep sorrow that we accept and announce the death of Sister Mary Aoko Otieno (Min Dani) who passed on peacefully at Homa Bay County Referral Hospital on 14th February 2018. Min Dani, was a staff at Homa Bay County Referral Hospital from 1983 to 2017, when she retired from service.

Loving wife of Eliud Otieno Ojwang of Ka Min Dani Bookshop Ndhiwa. Amazing mother of Rael Akinyi (Rangenya Primary School), Samwel Odhiambo and Fredrick Ochieng. Mother in-law of Joseph Opiyo, Grace Akinyi and Christine Adhiambo. Daughter of the late Cainan Rajula and Yudith Rajula. Daughter in law of the late Mahalon Ojwang, Marshella Ojwang’, the late Matabel Ojwang’ and Jane Ojwang’. Sister of Fredrick Rajula, Moses Rajula, Philip Rajula, Willis Rajula, George Rajula, the lace Otieno Rajula, Jane Odula (Kaswanga) , Mildred Rajula, Rose Rajula, Benta Rajula and Loreen Rajula.

Sister in-law of the late Damaris Ouko, Apelies & William, Jack Ojwang’ & Grace Ojwang’ (Bongu Primary School), the late Moses Ojwang’ & June (Migori), Ezekiel Ojwang’ & Beatrice Ngoje (USA), Dr. Cainan Ojwang’ (Maseno University) & Janet Ongati (USA), the late Shem Ojwang’ & Grace Okuku (Ndhiwa Elite), Pamela Okundi (Ministry of Health, Oyugis) & Erastus Oluoch, Elly Ojwang’ (PSI) & Triza Ose (Ministry of Finance), Joseph Ojwang’ & Meres Odhiambo, Onyango Francis (Ratang’a) & Mollyn Onyango, Nicanor Ojwang’ & Florence, among others.

Grandmother of Marion, Christine, Ashley, Bianca and Francine.

The cortege leaves Homa Bay Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 1st March 2018 for her home in Kanyikela, Ndhiwa.

Burial will be on Friday 2nd March 2018 at her home in Rapedhi City, Homa-Bay County.
