It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Mrs Sarah Ithima Kubai which occurred on 12th August 2018 at St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital, Kiirua.

Beloved wife of Kubai Mutweria. Beloved mother of Jane Nkinga (Kiriani) Mary Njeri (rtd teacher), Piel Riungu (Maua). Celestina Karimi (Munga Pry), Patrick Kinyua (Kanjoo Maua), Doris Igoki (Kirigara Girls), Emily Nyaga (MOE Kiambu), Serafine Njue (Kanjoo Maya), Jennifer Kubai (Treasury Nairobi), Humphrey Ndiga (Munga) and Sophia Kaari (Youth affairs Chuka). Mother in law of the late Samuel and Fredrick, Polly, Fidel, Kagendo, Peter, Ambrose, Mercy, Purity, Ken and Ngunjiri. Grandmother of 37 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Meetings and burial arrangements are being held at Munga (Family home), Kanjoo Maua and Nairobi at Accra Hotel, 5th floor-Tea Room daily from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Chogoria Mission Hospital at 9.00am, 21st of August 2018 to Munga Catholic church for the prayers and procession and thereafter burial at her family homestead in Munga, Maara Sub county, Tharaka Nithi County.

Mum/cucu we loved you so much. In God’s hands you rest. In our hearts you live forever. AMEN.
