It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rev. (Rtd) Samuel Thiong’o Njuguna (Ithe wa Njeri). Son of the late Kabuchi Muratha and the late Njeri Kabuchi. Loving husband of Mary Muthoni Thiong’o. Dotting dad of Anne Njeri Kibinda (University of Nairobi) and Planner Peter Mburu Kibinda (Consulting Planning Services). Cherished grandfather of Waithera Gitau & MaqC Gitau, Charles Kibinda, Maryanne Muthoni Kibinda and Samuel Thiong’o Kibinda. Great grandfather of Ty Mureithi Gitau. Adored brother of the late Naphtali Mbugua Kabuchi, Fredrick Kago Kabuchi, Beth Nyathira, Wambui Mburu, the late Andrew Kamau, Anna Wanjiru Ritho and Harun Mugo.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in Nyanjogu Village, Kamburu Location in Githunguri, Kiambu County, for prayers and funeral arrangements. Other meetings will be held at the PCEA St. Andrews Church, Nairobi, on Tuesday 31st January 2017 and Wednesday 1st February, from 5.30pm. The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home in Githunguri Town at 9am on the 2nd February 2017, for the funeral service at PCEA Nyanjogu Church, followed by his burial at his Nyanjogu Home.
