It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Phylis Njeri Kamotho after short illness formally a teacher of Mwangaza Secondary School.

Wife of Charles Kamotho of KTTC Nairobi. Mother of Sammy Gichuhi (Kagumo High School) and Joy Wanjiku (Shammer Ebenezer Academy). Daughter of Kimenyu Kaguru and the late Nginyi Kimenyu. Step-daughter of Njeri Kimenyu of Gathingiriri Mwea. Daughter-in-law of the late Samuel Gichuhi Makanya and the late Rahab Wanjiku of Hubuini Sub-location, Nyeri County. Sister of Ann Wambui, the late Wairimu, Stephen Muhoro, James Njoroge, Peter Njange, John Njuguna, Ann Wambui, Josphat Muhoro, Josphat Njange, Monicah Mweru and Mary Muthoni.

Sister-in-law of the late Jedidah Watetu King’ori, Wairimu (Sopili), Wambui (Ol Kalau), Muthoni (Hubuini). Sister-in-law of Mwangi Gichuhi (Ndaragwa), Makanya (Hubuini), Wanyaga (Kanyagia) and many others. Aunt of Njuri, Gichuhi, Thuku, Kibe, Wanjiku, Wanjiru, Wothaya, Evans, Kevin, Muhoro, Mumbi and many others.

Family and friends are meeting at their Munyaka-Thangira home next to Makuyu By-Grace School from 5:00pm – 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 31st May 2018 at 8:00 and burial will take place at her home in Munyaka Villlage, Kimorori Sub-location, Kimorori Location, Murang’a County along Kenol Makuyu Highway.
