It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Peninah Wanjiru Wachira on 5th June 2018, at Nairobi Women, Kitengela.

Loving wife of Gerald Wachira Mwangi. Mother of Grace Wambui and Brian Mwangi. Daughter-in-law of Benson Mwangi and Grace Wambui Mwangi. Daughter of the late Joseph Ngore and Teresiah Leah Mumbi Ngore. Sister of Angelica Wambui, Susan Nyambura, Gerald Muthee, Justina Wacuka Bosire and George Mungai. Sister-in-law of the late Beth Gathoni Ngunjiri, Symon Maina Mwangi, Lucy Wanjiru Mwangi, the late Peter Kiongo, Jackson Murui Mwangi, Antonty Gatumbu Mwangi and Eddyson Muriithi Mwangi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Athi-River and Sandton Hotel Nairobi and Jericho Lumumba AA245393 from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home from 8:30am Friday 15th June 2018 for burial service at Gaikundo Catholic Church at 11:00am, thereafter burial at Wachira’s Home Gaikundo Village, Mukuru-ini – Nyeri.
