Mwalimu Reuben Musyoka Kongo
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the resting of Mwalimu Reuben Musyoka Kongo which occurred on the 14th of February while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi west hospital’s ICU wing.
Son of the late Kongo and Bretta Munyaka. Brother of the late Elizabeth Wambua, Kavinya Wambua, the late Moses Kyalo, and the late Ann Mwikali. Father of Dorothy Kathini (Kitui), Sarah Kambua (Mulolongo Primary School), Josiah Kongo (Sumitomo), Ann Mumbe (Nairobi), Betty Kanini (Nairobi), Grace M. Nzale (KWS), Joshua Mutinda (Kitui),and Stephen Musili (KDF Nakuru). Father-in-law of Nicholas Mwendwa, Stanley Nyamai, Diana Kilonzo, Beneard Atancha, Antony Luvusi, Antony Nzale and Alice Musyoka. Grandfather of among others Helen, Tinah, Musyoka, Brian, Glenn, Ian, and Erick.
Friends and family are meeting at All Saints Cathedral from the 20th to the 22nd Feb 2018 from 5.30pm.There will be a fundraising on Thursday 22nd At All Saints Cathedral starting from 5:30pm.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 6:30am for burial ceremony at his home in Kyanika Kiwi County.
You fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the good faith. You remain in our hearts forever.
