Mary Wayua Tole

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the Tole and Kimeu families announce the passing on of our beloved Mary Wayua Tole which occurred on 20th September 2018 at Mater Misericordiae Hospital Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Boniface Wau Kimeu and the late Ruth Mbenge Kimeu. Wife of Professor Nimrod Tole formerly of University of Nairobi. Daughter-in-law of the late David Mwawuganga Tole and mama Adah Maola Tole. Mother of Peter Wau Kimeu. Sister of Mwangangi Kimeu, George Kimeu, Rodah Mutete, Rose Kilungu, Paul Kimeu, Martha Kimeu, Sabina Nderi, Catherine Ndileve, Multi Kimeu, Grace Mutile, Beatrice Katumbe, John Mbithi and Mutiso Kimeu. Sister-in-law of Noah Tole Job Tole, Joyce Mucogia, Professor Mwakio Tole, Nelly Tole, the late Damaris Mwanyumba, Samuel Tole, Joseph Tole and Christine Tole, Joyce Mwangangi, Penina Wangari, James Kilungu and Gideon Nderi. Mother-in-law of Alice Kimeu. Grand mother of Mary Wayua. Auntie of many.

There will be a fellowship at Park View Apartments Block B4 House no 2 in Nairobi South C at 5pm on Wednesday 26th September 2018.

The cortege leaves Mater Misericordiae Hospital on Thursday 27th September 2018 at 9:00am for a prayer service at Good News African Gospel Church on Muhoho Avenue, Nairobi South C at 10:00 am.

Thereafter, the cortege leaves South C at 12:00 noon for Katelembo village in Machakos for prayer service at 3:00pm with the neighbours to be followed by an overnight vigil.

The cortege leaves Katelembo village at 6:00am on Friday 28th September 2018 for Shimba Hills for overnight vigil.

Burial takes place on Saturday 29th September 2018 at Tole’s family home at Shimba Hills starting at 10:00am.
