It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Mama Mary Chumo of Simoti village Koiwa — Bomet County on 2nd June 2018 in Nakuru.

Wife of the late Mzee Stephen Chumo. Daughter of the late Mr. Kalya and the late Sophie Kalya, of Litein, Kericho County. Sister of the late Grace Ngeno, the late Alice Bartwol, the late Crispina Chelule and the late Zakayo Too. Mother of Paul Bent, the late Rose Chesimet, Florence Cheruiyot, Edwin Bent, the late Peter Bett, Irene Terer, the late Michael Bett, David Bett, Anne Kabue Ng’ang’a, the late Francis Bea and Sophia Chumo.

Mother-in-law of Norah Bett , Flora Sett, Betty Bett, Nancy Bett, Joseah Chesimet, Joshua Cheruiyot, Samwel Terer and Francis Ng’ang’a. Sister-in-law of the late Jonathan Ngeno, the late Mariko Bartwol & the late Alfonce Chelule and a cousin of Richard Chepkwony among others. Grandmother of a number of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

A fundraising was held at home Koiwa, Konoin, Bomet County on Tuesday 12th June 2018.

The cortege will leave Lazarus Funeral home for Prayers at A.I.C. Simoti, Koiwa on Thursday 14th June 2018 at 2.00 pm.

The funeral service and burial will be on Friday 15th June 2018 at her home Koiwa, Konoin.

May her soul rest in peace.
