It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lucy Kananu Rutere which occurred on 17/04/2018.

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Rutere. Daughter in law of Mr & Mrs Arucha. Wife of the late Stanley Maingi. Mother of Hilda, Lewis, Betty and Winrose. Mother in law of Mwenda, Karimi, Munene and Joel. Sister of the late Damaris. Miriam, late William, late Mwirigi, Mpinda, late Gatobu and Makandi. Sister in law of Kimathi, Mukuba, Kirimi, late Mbaabu, Mwiti, Kiogora and Gitonga. Grandmother of Zenia,Wayne, Brenda, Brandon. Maxime and Elaine.

Friends and relatives are meeting at the Garden Square Nrb from 19th, 20th and 23rd April and at her rural home Ng’onyi daily for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Wednesday 25th at 11.00 am followed by funeral service at Kagumone Methodist Church and later laid to rest at her home Ng’onyi village, Meru.
