Kugo Jonah Chepkurui Rokocho Arap Ketur (Kipnot)

 1896-2018

In His perfect time, God called to peaceful rest, our beloved Kugo Jonah Chepkurui Rokocho Arap Ketur (Kipnot) early Sunday morning of 18th March 2018 while at home. He was 122 years ol.

Son of the late Kipketur and the late Shakwei of Elmo Marakwet County. Brother to Late Kimmel of Kaprotwo, Chepngioror. He was loving husband to the late Ruth Terik., He was father to Arap Kirui (Kipkabus), Mary Kobilo (Kamagut), Daniel Kirui (formerly of Lima Limited), late Eunice Maritim (Kamagut) and  the late Francis Kirul (Kapalwat). He was father in law to late Ann Kirui, Emily Kirui (Moiben), Alice Kirui (Tapsagoi, Turbo) Simion Maritim and Magrina. He is survived by over 30 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing and a fundraising to offset funeral expenses will be held at his Kapaiwet, Chepkorio home on Friday 23rd March, 2018 at 2pm.

The cortege will leave MTRH on Monday 26th March, 2018 at 1pm to Kapalwat for an overnight stay.

Burial will take place on Tuesday 27th March 2018 preceded by church service celebration starting at 10am.

Christ came that they may have life and have it in FULL (John 10:10).
