John Irungu Macharia (Bishop)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of John Irungu Macharia (Bishop) formerly of Nursing Council of Kenya. Son of the late Macharia Muthee and the late Beatrice Njeri Macharia. Loving husband of Florence Wanjiku Irungu. Father of Beatrice Njeri, Jane Njoki, Nelius Wanjiru, Anne Nyambura, Monicah Muthoni and Rosemary Wanjiku. Brother of Mary Wanjiru, the late Monica Muthoni, the late John Chege and Jane Wambui (Tumutumu-Karatina). Uncle and grandfather of many.
Family and friends are meeting at his home Mwiki, Magomano Hotel and Kayahwe Home from 6.00 pm daily.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday 15th August 2017 at 8.00 a.m and then proceed to his rural ome Kayahwe in Kahuhia for funeral services and burial ceremony.
