Cyrus Mathenge Kanyango

It is with a deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the passing on to Glory of Cyrus Mathenge Kanyango (Karai Hardwares) which occurred on 15th September 2018 after a long illness bravely borne.

Cyrus was son of the late Kanyango Kihumba and the late Ruth Wangui. Stepson of Jane Njeri Kanyango of Gichiche Village, Chinga Location, Othaya Subcounty, Nyeri County. Father of Kennedy Kanyango, Judy Wangui, Beatrice Wanjiru, Claire Wangui and Daisy Wanja. Brother of the late Maina, Muchiri, Kariuki, Kingi, Wanjohi, Wanjiku, Wanja, Nderitu and Joyce.

Cousin of Fr. Maina, Njoki, Kimathi, Mumbi, Ndirangu, Muchiri among others. Nephew of the late Mathenge Karomo, the late Ngatia Karomo, the late Wanjohi Karomo, the late Wachuka, the late Mumbi, the late Muchiri Kihumba, the late Bernard Kihumba, the late Wangui Kihumba among others. Uncle of Kanyango, Wangui, Winnie, Waithera, Wanja, Njeri and others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Millenium 2000 Hotel Nyamakima from 6.30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday 22nd September 2018 for prayers and burial at his home, Chinga Farm Next o Chinga Boys High school starting at 12.00noon.
