Caroline Kerubo Agwata- Mwenda

 6th June 1976 – 4th June 2018

it is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved Caroline Kerubo Agwata -Mwenda on the evening of 4th June 2018. She was until her death teaching Biology and Agriculture at Sironga Girls’ High School in Nyamira County. Caroline was an alumni of Kilimani Primary School Class of 1990, Machakos Girls High School and Egerton University Njoro Campus.

Daughter of the late Joseph Onyancha Agwata and Emmy Jepketer Agwata. She was beloved sister to Martin Mogambi Agwata, the Late Phylis Nyanchama, Eileen Kerebi Agwata, Peter Nyandega Agwata and Susan Agwata- Kuria. Loving wife to Maurice Mwenda Mwirigi. Adoring Mother to Munene, Dan and Bridget. Daughter in law to Joseph Mwirigi and Rose Kanai. Sister in law to Jackline Ammo and Manasses Pataka Kuria. Aunt to Wendy, Harriet, Crystal, Angel, Zuri among others.

Grand-daughter to the late Paramount Chief Manono Agwata and the late Naomi Bosibori and the late Nicodemus Ngetich Cherewo and Sarah Tapkili Cherewo. Niece to the Late Sigara Osugo, the Lam Rodgers Achoki, the Late Helena Mayogi, Zibiah Nyambane, Moses Bundi,The Late Jacob Ngetich, Elizabeth Sieley, Herma Setem, Ruth Chemeli, the late Rosemary, Jael Kogo, Benjamin Kipkoske, Mark Kitongo among others. Caroline was a cousin to Sam Mankone, Clare Omanga, Rosemary Moraa, Hon. Ben Momanyi, Harry Kogo, Elizabeth Nyambane, Mercy Nyanchama among others.

There will be a meeting in support of the family in meeting medical and funeral expenses on Monday 18th June 2018 and Tuesday 19thJune 2018 at All Saints Cathedral from 5 p.m. A final fundraising meeting is planned for Wednesday 20th June 2018 from 5p.m. at the 680 Hotel. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Caroline’s life will be held at CITAM Valley Road, Nairobi on 22nd June 2018 at 2 pm.

The funeral cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home on Saturday 23rd June 2018 for a funeral service and burial thereafter at the family home in Kithima, Maili Saba.
