Mother in law of Philip Mainya (Electrician), Gideon Oyagi(DCC – Nyandarua Central), Mary, Lillian, the late Lydia and Florence. Korera of the late Mainya, the late Kasmiri, the late Oyagi, Nyakundi and Ondieki. Sister of Dinah, Milka, Agnes, Esther, Teresa, Peris, Sarah, Tabitha, Jomo, Kennedy, Elijah, Chanai, Gladys, among others. Sister-in-law of Agnes, Mellen, Mary, the late Concepta, Jane, Rose and Jackline. Grandmother of Jack, Moris, Steve, Reagan, Gloria among others.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital on 2/11/17 for overnight stay and funeral ceremony to be conducted at her home in Mwamogesa Village, Nyatieko location, Kitutu South on 3/11/2017.

We announce the sudden death of Bilhah Lugiri, who passed on in Springfield Massachusetts — America on October 14th 2017.

Daughter of Enock Irungu of Lukusi – lleho.Wife of Paul Lugiri. Mother to Faith and Stephen Lugiri. Sister to Kepher Irungu, Jane Bosse, Joyce, Elizabeth, Stella, Peris, Agnes, Gladys, Susan, Mildred Irungu and Caroline. Sister-in-law to the late Bosse, the late Malenje, Silvester Muhati, Benta Nekesa, Fred Majani, Asena Adira, Charles Mukoshi, Robert Odiaga, Kangwana Francis, Elphas Mulamba, Christine Mukoko, Francis Joash, Hellen Munala, and Jairus Munala.

The body leaves Kaimosi Jumuia Mortuary on Thursday, November 2nd 2017 to her Shikoti — Emacherube home in Butsotso  – Kakamega. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 4th 2017.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Archdiocese of Kisumu announce the death of Rev. Fr. Elias Ngafia Wainaina on 18th October 2017 at Avenue Hospital Kisumu after a long illness.

Son of the late Peter Wainaina and the late Peres Mwihaki of Nyando District, Homa lime sub location Muhoroni Division. Brother of James Ngugi, Joseph Kimani, the late James Chege, Lucia Wanjiku, Monica Njeri and Mary Muthoni.

The cortege will leave St. Monica Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 1st November 2017 at 3pm for vigil and overnight stay mass at St.Theresa’s Cathedral Kibuye. The burial is scheduled on Thursday 2nd November 2017, starting 10.00am at Theresa’s Cathedral presided over by most Rev. Zacchaeous Okoth and thereafter burial at the Cathedral Cemetery.

The cortege leaves PCEA Thogoto Funeral Home on Thursday, 2nd November 2017 at 9:30am for a funeral service to be held at ACK St. Marks Church, Kinoo at 11:00am, followed by burial thereafter at her Gaitumbi Farm, Kinoo.

She was the loving daughter of the late Lazarus Kimani and the late Phyllis Kimani. Mother to Chris Thuo, Leonard Kimani, Purity Wanjiru, Immaculate Wangeci, Gertrude Getty and Owen Macharia. She was the Steps-Mother to Sophie Wanjiru, Zaituni Kola, Salima Waruiru and Salama Njeri. She was Sister to Jane, Waitueka, Beth, Njeri, Kariuki, late Catherine and the late Chege. Sister-in-law to George, Wathifora, late Gitangu, Lucy Mwangi, late Chief Thuo, Beatrice, Esther, Nancy, Chege and Martha. Mother-in-law to Helen, Lucy, Wairimu, Vincent, Alex, Mureithi. She was beloved Aunty to many, friends to many and was cherished by her grand-children Alexander, Patricia, Lauryn, Joy, Alvin, Liam, Hani, Zubeda, Aisha,Alia, Maria.

Relatives and Friends are meeting in Thika. There will be meetings in Nairobi at Sagret Hotel Milimani on Tuesday 31st Oct and Wednesday 1st November starting at 6pm. The cortege will leave Bishop Okoye Funeral Home Thika at 9am for funeral service and burial on Thursday 2nd November 2017 at Makuyu —Kenya Njeru Farm.

Beloved wife to the late Abisai Jagemi, a great mum to Selifa Afandi, Mary Agose, Truphena Jagemi, Merisa Jagemi, Rev. Beckie Jagemi of Deliverance Church Umoja, Amos Jagemi, Janet Jagemi and Elisha Jagemi (Moi). Sister to the late Janes Mbalanya. Sister in law to Cherita Mbalanya. Aunty to Sammy Mbalanya. Grandmother to Tom Olumela, Jagemi, Odemo, Peke, Omega, among ohers. Mother-in-law to Alice Galiavo, Furaha and Carol Moi.

Family, friends and neighbours in Nairobi are meeting in the evenings at Tumaini and Kibra estates; while in Iduku village they are meeting at Mama Esther’s home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a short service at Montezuma Funeral Home on the 02nd November 2017 at 8am, thereafter the cortege leaves for Iduku village in Vihiga County.

Esther will be laid to rest on 04th November 2017 at her home in Iduku village.
