It is with humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Ssgt John Thiaine Thuranira of Kenya Military Academy-Lanet.
Son of Stanley M’Thuranira Kaane and the late Janet Thirindi Thuranira. Husband of Lucy Kinya Thiaine (Gilgit Hills Schools). Loving father of Ayub Mugambi, Doreen Nkatha, Juliet Mwendwa and Abigael Makena. Grandfather of Bella. Son-in-law of the late Shadrack M’Mithea and Salome Cionjira. Brother of Mwenda, Kananu, Mukiri, Kajuju, Nkoroi, Kinya, Karimi, Mwika, Salome, Kirito, the late Mutwiri, and Karithi. Brother-in-law of Mbaabu, Alexander, Kobia, Gachoka, Kaberia, Ashiono, Kimathi, Mwiti, Mrs. Mwambia, Kathure, Thuranira, Wanja, Harriet, Mwenda and Mutwiri. Uncle, Cousin and Nephew of many.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Gilgil and his home in Thau Village. The cortege leaves Evans Sunrise Funeral Home Nakuru at 5:00 am and thereafter a funeral service and burial at his home in Thau Village, mituntu Location, Meru County.
“You have fought a good fight, finished the race and kept the faith”. RIP till we meet again.

Please find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God has promised a resurrection at Acts 24:15 and this is something we can look forward to. Our heavenly father knows the pain we go through when we lose someone in death and has therefore promised to wipe out death forever- Isaiah 25:8 and 1Cor 15:26.
