It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Shadrack Namunyu Sakwa at Tanaka Nursing Home in Busia on July 4.

He hails from Sikinga village, Bukhayo East, Busia County. Son of the late Mzee Zachary Sakwa and the late Mama Miriam Nafula.

Husband of the late Florence Nakimwei, Sabina Oundo and Julia Asangire.

Father of the late Ayub, the late Naomi, Leonard, the late Sakwa, Sebastian, George, Linus, Ernest, Nelson, Maurice, Samson, Grace, Hellen, Elizabeth, the late Gladys, the late Alice, Electine, Maureen, Anarita, Susan, Noel and Caren.

Brother of Stephen Makokha and Zakayo Ndombi. Step-brother of the late Muafu, Petro, the late Ongoma, Sembeya, Absalom, Onyango, Meshack, Wycliffe Namusonge among others. Step- sisters include; Eliana, Khabunga, Hendrika, Teresa Nakhumwa, Florence Aoko. Brother-in-law of Dickson, Christopher, Edward, Absalom, Madesto, Francis Nawade, the late Obonyo, the late Sitati, Makhandia Okhang’o, Imoo, Eprong’, ljakaa, Masake.

Father in-law of Peter, Beatrice, Clement, Willis, Philip, Julius, among others. Grandfather of Isaac, Esther, Mercy, Antonina, Yvonne, Rehema, Samuel, Velma, Specious, Adam and Namunyu Junior among others.

Great-grandfather of Geraldine, Baraka, Favour, Mwende, Naomi, Gared and Imani among others.

The cortege leaves Tanaka Nursing Home on Saturday July 15 2017. Funeral

service and burial will be held at his home, Sikinga.
