Robert Tole Mwang’ombe

It is with a labored heart and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Robert Tole Mwang’ombe that occurred on Tuesday 11th January 2018 at Hs Jomvu residence, Mombasa.

Husband of Velentina and father of Rhodah, Moses and Josephine. Son of Alexander Mwang’ombe and the late Josephine Madedo (Mae Winnie). Brother of Winnie, Arnest, Christopher, Deborah, Mkala, Houghton, Raymond and Catherine. Son-in-law of the late Zakayo Mgenyi and Dora Mkazayo. Cousin of Violet Mwakio, Dr John Tole and Lydia Mkala among others. Brother-in-law of Frances Wamai, Joseph Kimonyi, Sammy Elijah, Bryson Mghenyi and Amos Mwasi among others. He was a nephew, cousin, uncle and grandfather of many.

The body is at Jocham Funeral Home, Mombasa. A fundraising will be held today 17th January, 2018 at Coast General Hospital grounds.

The cortege leaves Jocham for a funeral service at St Philip ACK Church, Jomvu before the onward journey to Wundanyi, Taita Taveta for burial at the family home Kilera, Mlawa village on Saturday 20th January 2018.

He said, while the child was still alive, I fasted and wept,I thought who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live. But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me. (2 Samuel 11:22-23)
