It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Michael Maina Kaburi on 8th December 2017 at Thika Nursing Home.
Son of Simon Kaburi Kuria (late) andWangari Kaburi Gaitho (deceased). Brother of Cosmas Mwangi Kaburi (deceased), Joseph Kuria Kaburi and Peter Karanja Kaburi. Beloved husband of Tekla Waithera Maina (deceased). Father of Gabriel Kimani, Peter Gaitho (deceased), Joseph Kuria, Stephen Mwangi, John K. Maina, Margaret Wangari and Teresiah Kariuki. Father-in-law of Hellen Kimani (deceased), Jane Kuria, Margaret Mwangi, Jane Karanja and James Kariuki. Grandfather of 17 grandchildren and great grandfather of 7 great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4 pm at his home, Kiharo Village, Kariva Sub-location and on Friday 15 December from 5.30 pm at the residence of John Karanja Maina in Nanyuki, on Friday 15 December from 6 pm at Buruburu Wab Hotel (jamlizer), and on Monday 18 December from 6pm at St Andrews Church Nairobi.
The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home Thika at 8.30 am on Tuesday 19 December 2017 for funeral service and burial at his home in Kiharo Village, Kariua sublocation, Kandara District Murang’a County.
In God’s Hands you rest, in our hearts you live for forever. Amen.
