Mary Wambui Karuri (WaKaruri)

 1937-2017

We regret to announce the death of Mary Wambui Karuri, formerly of Nairobi City Council.

Wife of the late Maberu Wangengi. Mother of David Ngengi, the late John Karuri, Gideon Gitau, Samuel Thuku, Miriam Nyokabi, the late Peter Nyanjui, Sherina Njeri and Monica Mumbi. Mother-in-law of Margaret Ngengi, Nyambura Karuri, Wambui Gitau,Wanjiru and Wairimu Thuku and Udo Poppe. Grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 15th August 2017 at 7am. The service and burial will take place from noon at the family home in Endarasha, Nyeri County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her house in Jerusalem N 15(3248) and at the family home in Endarasha.

May God rest her soul in eternal peace. Amen
