It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ludiah Cherono Yobterik which occurred on 10/01/2018 at Siloam Hospital, Kericho.

Daughter of the late Kiptesot and late Langok Buiywo of Kapkatet Village, Waldai Location, Kericho County. Wife of the late Nyanja Arap Yobterik. Co-wife of the late Tapkili. Mother of John, late Reuben, Esther (Enoomatasiani Primary School, Ngong), Agnes (Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources), Samwel, Emily (KEFRI, Muguga) and Lina (Nairobi School).

Step-mother of Rebecca and late Tapkigen. Mother-in-law of late Daudi, Leah, Agnes, Joshua (Ngong), Japheth Yegon (IEBC), Sally, Gladys and Julius (Nairobi). Sister of Samson Turn (Meleta), Martha Koech, Raeli Keter and late Jeremiah Turn (Kiprere). Sister in-law of late Obot Ibinot, Anna, Tina and Martha. She leaves behind forty six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 17/01/2018 at Lina Kiget’s residence in Nairobi School from 5.00pm and at home Machorwa Village on Thursday, 18/01/2018 from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home, Kericho on 19/01/2018 at 12noon. Burial will take place on 20/01/2018 at her home Machorwa Village, Kaptoboiti Location, Kericho County starting from 10am.
