It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Jacinta Wairimu Githuku.

Daughter of the late George Kingori & late Hannah Wangui. Daughter-in-law of the late Michael Munga & the late Lucy Waruguru. Wife of the late Simon Peter Githuku. Mother of Lucy Waruguru, James Mwangi, Anne Nyambura, Wanjiku Maingi, Teresa Wangari, Jane Wothaya & Regina Wamuyu. Mother-in-law of Samuel Wambugu, Nancy Wanjiru, Peter Maigua, Antony Maingi, Mathew Gichohi & Peter Ndegwa. Grandmother of Dennis Githuku, Faith Wambui, Eric Waigera,George Githuku, Martin Karaguri, Kevin Githuku, Benson Mwangi, Isy Muriithi, Bernice Wanjiru, Roselyn Wairiumu, Claire Wairimu, Kristine Cindy & Emmanuel Wanjohi. Sister of the late Joseph Kanyungu, the late John Kuraihu, Tarcisio Muhoro, Simon Kiundu & Teresa Wangari. Sister-in-law of the late Tirus Gacheru, Wanjiku Kagure, Cecilia Wothaya, William Kiragu, the late Regina Wangari, Priscilla Wangui Kanyungu, the late Mary Wanjiku Kuraihu among others. Aunt of King’ori Kanyungu, King’ori Kuraihu, Mwangi Kagure and Joe Munga among others.

Prayers & meeting are taking place daily at her home from 4pm in Ruruguti village, Othaya Nyeri & St Paul’s University Chapel Hall at 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home next to Outspan Hospital on Saturday I9/08/17 at 7am for mass at Holy Family Catholic Church Ruruguti on 19/08/17 at 11am, followed by burial at her home in Ruguguti, same day.
