Dr. George Ogonji Agumba

Maseno University regrets to announce the untimely death of Dr. George Ogonji Agumba of the School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, which occurred on Sunday, 12th November, 2017 at Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.

Beloved husband of Mariam Kadzo Ogonji. Father of Musa Otieno, Jasmine Nimeto Achieng, Zacharia Nguma Onyango and Hidaya Persila Anyango. Son of Caleb Agumba Ochanjo and the late mama Persila Anyango of Kano Kabonyo. Step son of Margret, Philister, Monica, Teresa & Magdalene. Son-in-law of Mwalimu Nguma & the late Lady Nimeto. Brother of Claris Agumba, Dickens Agumba, Peter Agumba and Jenifer Agumba. Cousin of Charles, Apot, Betty, Kure among others.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital Mortuary-Milimani on Friday, 24th November, 2017 for an overnight stay at his home in Nyamasaria. The burial will take place on Saturday, 25th November, 2017 at his home in Nyamasaria Village, Upper Bwanda Location, Kadibo Division, Nyando District, Kisumu County.
