Catherine Wangui Thindiu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Catherine Wangui Thindiu on Wednesday 20/9/2017 after along illness. She hailed from Gatitu village Nyeri County.

Wife of the late James Thindiu Wambugu. Daughter of late Gitimu Nyaga and late Nyadia Gitimu. Sister of the late Samuel Nyaga. Step sister of Mary Wanini and the late Moses Wachira Gitimu. Mother of the late Charles Mathenge, Washington Maina the late Dickson Wamatriu ,Julius Nyaga Alexander Ndirangu, Rosemary Wangechi, the late David Kogi Gladys Nyandia,George Wahome and Alice Waigumo. Mother-in-law of Nelius Mathenge, Elizabeth Maina, Alice Wmahiu Margaret Nyaga late Njoki Nyaga, Margaret Ndiragu, Alace wahome. Grandmother of Jimmy Mathenge,Thindiu Maina, Cathirene Jacob, Susan Nyawira, James Mathangani, Dave Gakuya, Catherine Wangui, Denis Mathaga. She has left behind 39 great grand children.

Friends and family members are meeting at her home Gatitu village for prayers and funeral arrangement. The cortege will leave(Nyeri Funeral Home) Outspan Hospital Mortuary at 8:00am on 28th SEP 2017 For funeral services at Gatitu P.C.E.A Church from 10:00 am. Soon after burial will take place at her home Gatitu village.
