Alice Kalunde Kakuta

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing on of our mother Mrs. Alice Kalunde Kakuta which occurred on 12th November 2017at Bishop Kioko Hospital Machakos.

Daughter of the late Chief Nguma Lai and the late Mbulwa Nguma. Sister of the late Esther Nzeli, the late Kakui, Priscilla Kaula and the late Onesmus Kimweli. Loving Wife of Charles Kakuta Kolile. Mother of Grace Kaswii, the late Esther George, Rael Kunga, Nathan Mutua Kolile, Peninnah Wayua, Mary Wambua and the late James Nguma. She leaves behind 26 grand children, David Kakuta, Winnie Loko, Faith Wanza, Nathan Mutua Mutiso, Mwongeli Kunga, Dickson Arita, Mwendwa Wambua among others, 32 great grand children and 4 great great grand children.

Family and friends are meeting for burial arrangements at Nairobi (Garden Square) Nakuru (Kokeb Hotel) and at her home village – Kyangala on 21st Tuesday and 22nd Wednesday from 5:30 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos on Friday 24th November 2017 at 8:30 am for the burial which will take place at her home village Kyangala, Kilome Sub-Location, Mukaa Sub-County, Makueni County on the same day.
