It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Walter Akech.

Son of the late Zephania Otieno and the late Nereah Adero. Brother of James Ofuoch (Soy). Father of Zephania Otieno (Kisumu), David Odhiambo (Kisumu), Gordon Ochieng (Nairobi), Catherine Atieno (Nairobi), James Angawa (Nairobi) and Edwina Anyango (Nairobi). Father-in-law of Esther, Evelyne, Betty Lillian and Juma Salim Juma (Tanzania). He has left behind 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital Mortuary (Russia) on Friday 2nd February 2018 for a requiem service at ACK Marenyo.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 3rd February 2018 at his home in Ngut Mbaka Marenyo Village (Yala), Siaya County.

Rose Chepkorir Maiyo

August 13th 1958 — December 2nd 2017

We, the family of our beloved Mrs. Rose Chepkorir Maiyo who went to be with the Lord on 2nd December 2017, wish to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for the messages of condolences, prayers, material and financial support during her entire hospitalization period, the fundraiser to offset the huge medical bill and the funeral arrangements.

Much appreciation goes to the entire congregations of ACK St. Mathews Hardy, led by Rev. Redson Komu and Rev. Grace Syongo,ACK St. Stephen Kaplelach,AIC Kimnyigei and all other local churches at Kaplelach and Konetik for their prayers and support. Special compliments go to all doctors and staff of Nairobi Hospital, led by Dr. Rohit Radio, and all the doctors and staff of Karen Hospital, for their dedication in the treatment of Rose.

The family thanks and greatly appreciates the entire Nairobi Organizing Committee under the able leadership of its chairman, Mr. Boniface Terer, and the Kaplelach/Konetik Committee, for their tireless commitment and support. We thank all relatives, neighbours, friends, staff of Posta Pension Scheme and well-wishers who together enabled us to give our beloved Rose a beautiful and fitting send-off.

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Charles Mugo Ndinwa (Kiambati) of Kiangungu village, Kanyeki-ini Ward Kirinyaga County.

Son of the late Ndinwa Kiambati and the late Lucy Wambura Kiambati. Husband of Mrs Tabitha Mweru Mugo. Father of Lucy Wambura, Jack Nyamu, the late Jane Wanjiku, Joseph Guthua, Alice Wanjiru Kamau, Andrew Njogu, James Munyi, and Moses Murage.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kiangungu, Kirinyaga at 4.00pm, at ACK Kerugoya Cathedral at 5.00pm in Kirinyaga County and at Nairobi Tumaint House (Next to Kencom House) 5th Floor along Moi Avenue from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kerugoya County Hospital Mortuary at 9.00am on Friday 2nd February 2018 followed by a Funeral service at ACK St Lukes Church Kiamuthambi Kirinyaga Diocese and burial thereafter at his home in Kiangungu Kirinyaga County.

We announce sudden death of Mary Monica Injesia that occurred on Tuesday 23rd January 2018 after short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Mr, Peter Ndeke Wangira; sons Simon Wangira Ndeke of KIU Construction Ltd, and Lucas Aswani Andalo and daughter Catherine Ndeke. First born daughter of Rev. Donald Oyando and the late Rael Nyangweso. Sister of Beatrice Ayako, L.Rev. Moses Oyando of Mona Furnishers, Robert Oyando of Ramsis Enterprises Limited and Chairman of Buruburu Community Centre Church of God Nairobi.

Step sister of Nicholas Oyando, Beth, Tom, Rose. Loving niece of Rodgers Okang’a, the late Joash Olewa (Machinery), the late Duncan Munala, the late Lenah Angayia, Agnes Okoba and Jeminah Amayoti. Cousin of Lydiah Barasa, Romonah, Hannah, Caleb, Samuel Khalechi, Rose Okoba, Geoffrey, Gertrude Amayoti, Andrew Mbuya of ONFON Media, Brenda, Florah, Arnold, Tom Okang’a, James Misiko amongst others. She leaves behind a number of grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Moi Referral Hospital Mortuary on 1st February 2018 for a requiem mass at Catholic Church, Webuye Town and eventually for an overnight stay at her home Munyikana Webuye Township.

Burial will take place at her Munyikana home, Webuye, on Saturday 3rd February 2018 at 12.00pm.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 3/2/2018 at 8.00am. Burial thereafter at Njogu ya Wanjiku village, Kiamariga, Ruguru ward, Mathira west, Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves MTRH on Saturday, 3rd February 2018 at 9 AM for church service at Christ the King Cathedral Bungoma at 1PM.

The requiem mass will be held at KMTC grounds Bungoma on Monday, 5th starting at 9.00AM followed by burial at his Kanduyi home, opposite Kanduyi DEB Primary.
